salpepe studio began its activity in 2021 from the joint work of Cristina García Montesinos and Lelio di Loreto.
The studio thinks, designs, builds, and photographs architecture and spaces, moving across different scales, contexts, and functions, with a transversal approach and close attention to detail.

salpepe studio is born from the encounter between two gazes that recognize themselves in contrast.
We come from different places — two cities, two cultures, two rhythms of life — yet we share a common way of looking at architecture:
an essential gesture that finds its strength in material clarity and materiality.
Our work operates within a constant tension between opposites: black and white, the beautiful and the rough, the minimal and the expressive. We are interested in that intermediate space where differences do not cancel one another out, but instead generate meaning: where contrast emerges, so too does a narrative and spatial opportunity.
In a contemporary context marked by pragmatic demands and accelerated rhythms, we reclaim architecture’s capacity to move us and to construct atmospheres that accompany everyday life and lend it depth.
